I was diagnosed with some 2 aneurysms in the head in April 2019, went through an unsuccessful craniotomy in one of the top cream hospitals in Kenya same year then was advised to seek further attention abroad. I was introduced to Apollo hospital's Dr. Kutty who then introduced me to Dr. Vishal Chafale after I made my point clear that I needed a doctor who was conversant with non invasive procedures and not a learner. I was scared of another surgery and especially going through a non invasive procedure being a new medical practice but Dr. Vishal gave me great assurance and true to his words, the procedure was smooth, brief and very successful unlike craniotomy which took hours. I was then scheduled for review after few months but due to the pandemic, I could not travel to Mumbai as planned but despite the hindrance, Dr. Vishal was always available for any consultation and promptly so. In October this year which was like two years later, I visited the hospital for review and I was over the moon with joy when Dr. Vishal confirmed that the aneurysms had shrunk 💯, the flow diverter had fully embedded itself in the blood vessel and blood flow had resumed normalcy.
